GENERAL MANAGER

Hugo Reyes Duran serves as the General Manager at 106 JEFFERSON, overseeing all aspects of the hotel’s opening process, as well as day-to-day operations and staff management. He is responsible for developing a 60 person staff and leading the team in providing world-class service and unrivaled guest experiences. Reyes brings nearly two decades of exemplary hospitality and managerial experience to the property. 

Prior to joining the 106 JEFFERSON team, Reyes held leadership positions at several premier brands including Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Starwood and Gran Melia. Managing hotel grand openings such as the Kimpton Goodland in Fort Lauderdale and the Mandarin Oriental in Lake Como, among others, he brings experience from award-winning properties across the globe in Hawaii, Canary Islands, Madrid, Barcelona, Mallorca, Ibiza and Lake Como. With a passion for the hospitality industry, he strives to make a positive impact in the lives of his guests and provide them with unforgettable experiences.

A native of Spain, Reyes earned a master’s degree from the European School of Business in Spain, and a bachelor’s degree in travel industry management from the University of Hawaii Manoa in Honolulu.

When he is not managing Huntsville’s newest luxury hotel, Reyes can be found spending quality time with family and friends, learning something new, or working on an at-home do-it-yourself project. Like the roots of his new city, he follows space exploration, science and technology and loves to travel to new destinations.
